Linea di calce was created due to fascination of the grand Mediterrean tradition.

Linea di calce reconciles traditional craftsmanship using natural raw materials which have stood the test of time, such as marle and lime, with modern-day standarts in the areas of architecture, application, product safety, ecology and design variety.

A collection comprising 48 diferent colours with a Mediterrean flair has been put together for StoLook Marmorino, StoLook Fondo and StoLook Effetto.

The collection is based on traditional and historical colouring pigments. The concept of colouring and marbling plasters goes back around 2000 years to the Roman times, and is sometimes referred to as Venetian plaster.

Sto has taken the original principle and developed it with modern materials so that the lime elements contained in the marble powder are directly compacted by pressure to provide a smooth polished glazed surface.

These finishes can then be applied to the walls or substrates to create a stone or marble effect finish, which will bring life and colour to Museums, Art Galleries, Receptions, Conference Rooms, Shops or simply adding a touch of panache to your own environment and with a low maintenance schedule.

Special effects can be created through stencilling or by using a variety of colours and finishes while added gloss and stain resistance properties can be provided by applying Sto waxes to the finished product.
